Family Math and Science Night!

Family Math/Science Night-NEW DATE

Dear Northeast Families,

We are excited to announce that Northeast Staff and the PTO will be running our second annual Prek-5 Family Math/Science Night on Tuesday, MAY 2nd from 6:30-8pm. Our vision for this FREE evening is to allow families to work together to learn fun games and strategies to help our Northeast students become even stronger mathematicians. New this year, fifth graders will have the opportunity to share their own science and engineering projects. More information on this will be coming soon.  Last year’s event was VERY well attended.  We hope to have a similar turnout this year.

At the event, every child will receive a bag of grade appropriate math tools that will allow families to continue the evening’s activities at home.  Even if you are unable to attend, your child(ren) will receive the materials and activity resources in school.

The PTO has generously donated to this event. In order to raise the additional funds for the materials, Northeast students held a Penny Drive during the month of February and first week of March.  Students raised over $500 in pennies (that’s 50,000 pennies)!

Thank you for supporting our Northeast mathematicians and scientists.  We look forward to seeing all of you at our event!
